Are you ready to live life in full colour?

Neuro-affirming therapy

I’ll help you to:

  • Understand and accept who you are

  • Cultivate healthier relationships

  • Leverage your strengths

  • Set healthier boundaries

  • Increase your self worth

  • Feel happier and less anxious

  • Enjoy life more

My approach is attachment-based, evidence-based, strengths-based and trauma-informed.

Key concerns

  • Anxiety

  • Chronic health issues (eg, chronic fatigue, chronic pain)

  • Depression

  • Eating issues- BED and ARFID

  • Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder

  • Medical trauma due to gaslighting

  • Orthostatic intolerance; POTS

  • Parenting coaching from neuroaffirming lens

  • Perinatal mental health (PND, PNA, PTSD, birth trauma, infant bonding and dyads)

  • PTSD and C-PTSD

  • Relationship issues (but not couples therapy)

  • Stress due to being an auDHDer

  • 2e/3e ('giftedness')

My approach

I want to see your favourite cat videos and sci-fi memes, and to hear all about your current SPINs.

I’m passionate about self-care and self-compassion, and will actively role model this for you. Given I’m a psychology nerd, I’ll aim to provide you with the latest tools, research, podcasts and apps.

I spend a significant amount of time exploring what you think good therapy looks and feels like, and what you want from therapy. I believe (and will actively role model) in striving to have authentic and rich connections with people who understand and accept you the way you are- quirks and all.

Tools I use

In therapy sessions, I am led by you and your goals. When able to, I work intuitively to interweave a myriad of tools including these approaches:

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Internal Family Systems (‘Parts Work’)

  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) adapted to our neurokin

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT and RO-DBT- only the ND affirming parts!)

  • Schema Therapy adapted to neurokin, only where respectful and appropriate

I offer a CBT-free zone!
