Hi, I'm Amy Sigley
Neuro-affirming, Autism Psychologist.

I’m proud to be autistic!

Phew! It took a while to say that, but I’m there now.

I’ve been a registered psychologist for 20 years. 

​

I have a Masters degree in both Clinical Psychology and Organisational Psychology. I'm an EMDR 'Consultant in Training', and a Board Approved Supervisor.

​

I’ve worked in private practice therapy for the past 10 years, and I have supported neurodivergent adults for many years.

​

My husband and I have two young boys (send help!!)  We also have three cats (Rupert, Pandora and George) and a golden retriever (Remi) who loves to eat the cat poo. 

​

I’ve accepted that I’m not (and never will be) an ‘alpha mummy’ who likes cooking or house-hold chores. 

I burn most things I cook, and I fail abysmally at multi-tasking

My super power is knowing almost every single word to every single Disney song from the 90s.

 

My other superpower is the ability to eat a whole packet of TimTams in an alarmingly short period of time.

 

I work on Quandamooka country in Meanjin (Brisbane), and have clients based all over Australia.

 

If you want to get me talking, bring up cats, native flora, advocating for our neurokin, and parenting young boys.

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), as does one of my kids. So I understand the world of chronic health conditions well.

This is my office manager, Rupert.

 

He likes chasing flies, sleeping, and harassing our other cat. He’s a bit of an alpha male, but we forgive him.
